Son Says Thanks

Thank you very much for arranging transportation for my mother, Charlotte, from St.Petersburg, FL. to Alexandria, VA. She arrived right on time and the crew was friendly and very efficient. Not knowing the industry, and being required to make arrangements in a very short time frame, your organization was a real “stress saver” for me. And thank you for saving us $2,000 on the arrangements – that was very helpful and welcome. Special thanks to Robin, who put it all together! I highly recommend anyone needing medical air transport to contact your organization.

Sincerely,
Peter

Amazing Progress Seen

I just wanted to say thanks again for getting my friend Lynn back up home and give you an update on her. She is making tremendous progress and is amazing all the doctors. She’s been walking with the use of a gate belt and is regaining the use of her arms and getting some movement in her fingers now. Being able to get her back here close to family and friends was a big boast to her morale and spirit and has definitely helped in the recovery process.

She said as soon as she’s able to use her hands and fingers again she wants to get in touch with you and thank you personally.

Thanks again for everything!
Colleen

A Wish Fulfilled

I want to thank you again for the outstanding job you did getting everything set for the trip to Nebr. for my 100 year old mother. She is home in Nebr. and is very happy—–you made her last wish come true.

Thank you again

ACAM Repatriates Patient

I wish you could have seen our local news last night as Brian landed safely in Buffalo. I can’t imagine the emotion his family was experiencing but know they were jumping up and down with excitement. I can’t thank you enough for any and all work you did to make this happen. I am sure you would tell me that “it’s my job” and while I understand that, please know what a tremendous difference you have made in this boy’s life. He has a long road ahead of him but I believe it will involve less mountains and speed bumps now that he is in America and using our resources (no offense to England). I (and everyone else that knows Brian Dux) am forever grateful and if for whatever reason I happen to meet you, brace yourself because I will tackle you with the biggest hug you have ever seen!

If you don’t mind, I will continue to update you on any significant progress Brian has and please pass along thanks to anyone else in Air Compassion America that helped bring Brian home.

Thank you, thank you, thank you,
Bobby

Rainbow in a Storm

Every so often in life, one happens upon something amazing, a miracle of sorts, a blessing. For me and my family, Air Compassion was our rainbow in an overwhelming storm. My parents lived in Northern Florida, but longed to return to New York, as my father’s health began to decline. My father is too ill to fly commercially. I investigated privately flying my parents in a medically controlled aircraft, but soon found the cost was prohibitive.

Our hopes were fading until, on a whim, I called Air Compassion America. As soon as I heard Clara’s voice, I knew I could trust her to do her best to help. Her reassuring words and mature, knowledgeable demeanor were instantly helpful. Clara’s kind words were followed by action and efficiency, making the while plan come to fruition smoothly.

With the untiring help of Clara and the flight coordinators, Air Compassion America arranged transportation in June 2007 from Florida to New York, for both my parents. Without the intervention of Air Compassion America and the services of the pilot and in-flight paramedic, we would not have ben able to fulfill my parents’ wishes to be back in New York with family.

We will never forget the extra effort, kindness, and spirit of Air Compassion America. Thanks you for being there when we needed you.

With heart felt thanks,
Gail

Stressful Situation Made Bearable

We would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to you and your staff for helping our family with a successful transfer from Cape Fear to John Foley Rehabilitation Center in Yaphank, New York. With out the compassion, professionalism, and dedication of staff members assigned to this case, we would have been forced to continue to manage Mrs. M’s care from a distance. Words cannot express the level of gratitude that we feel at this time for all the hard work we received from members of your staff. Their efforts made a stressful and very emotional situation bearable. We received constant words of encouragement at every turn.

Our mission has been accomplished, and our mother appears to be adjusting well to her new surroundings. Forgive us if we sound like we’re “preaching to the choir”, but this was an experience where we definitely wanted the “Top-Tier” of management to be “in the loop” on our success with this particular case.

Thank you for you time and consideration in this matter.

Sincerely,
Mr. and Mrs. M.
